Abstract— In the recent years Vehicular Ad hoc Networks (VANET) became one of the most challenging research area in the, field of Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANET). Vehicles in VANET send emergency and safety periodic messages through one control channel having a limited bandwidth, which causes a growing collision to the channel especially in dense traffic situations. In this paper a protocol Particle swarm optimization Beacon Power Control (PBPC) is proposed, which makes dynamic transmission power control to adjust the transmission power of the safety periodic messages that have been aggressively sent by all vehicles on the road 10 times per a second, the proposed protocol aims to decrease the packet collision resulted from periodic safety messages, which leads to control the load on the channel while ensuring a high probability of message reception within the safety distance of the sender vehicle.

Abstract— Internet as a medium of communication and interaction are grown fast. Supported by the hardware and software that is currently growing more sophisticated, making the Internet accessible easier for every user including mobile internet. The availability of software application and the operating system and other hardware inaccessibility makes the Internet penetration
superior than the desktop. It is inevitable with the operating system Android boost the development of the internet in the mobile line. Android allowss developers to innovate in the realm of software by developing a variety of application, one of the popular and has significant is the location-based functionality. Location-based application is used as a determinant of the location of the address of a public open space or closed or individuals or groups, such as the location of schools, buildings/offices, business space and others. In this research developed a location-based android application with local content comes with the distinguishing characteristics with existing application. The content in this application is school information and supported by the management application (back end) and the front display application (front end) with characteristic features such as maps and routes and types of public transportation (public transportation). This application was developed with multi modules compiled into one unified application. The data is taken from the source directly concerned schools and data from relevant agencies. The Application aims to
provide comprehensive information about the school to help users get the location and other information from the user‘s location.

Abstract— This paper presents a new novel software application system that can be control distributed devices based on mobile/Bluetooth networks. The AT commands where analysed and processed by the application system to manage a distributed multifunction mobile/Bluetooth control system. To evaluate the application system a full home prototype model were built to be used in a real time control system. In this system, a real time data can be accessed worldwide using the proposed application system via a GSM modem. The proposed application system shows a significant results when it used with a GSM (Global System for Mobile). A distributed multifunction control system were used and tested. The system can also be configured to control an alarm or any other electrical device via a mobile phone using SMS text messaging. The proposed application system can control a home automation from the remote location, determines the real time actions with a feedback from the system. The Cellular Shield will send the signal to the output PIN’s which are programmed using Java language to control the devices operation. The concerned authority can control the system through his mobile phone by sending AT Commands to the GSM modem connected to the computer and the proposed application system works with all GSM modem technologies  and in turn to main board controller. The application system providing the access to the system for security and automated monitoring and control the system operations remotely.
