Information systems and technologies
Profiogram
Professional Background
Today, in the age of informatization and computerization, information is as much a resource as labor, material and energy. Information (informatio) – clarification, awareness, presentation. Information is a valuable resource along with such traditional types of resources as oil, gas, minerals, etc., which means that the process of its processing, by analogy with the processes of processing of material resources, can be perceived as technology.
Information technology (IT) is a process that uses a set of means and methods of collecting, processing and transmitting data (primary information) to obtain new quality information about the state of the object, process or phenomenon (information product). Information technology is a process consisting of clearly regulated rules of operations, actions, stages of varying degrees of complexity over data stored in computers.
Information system (IS) is an organizationally-ordered interconnected set of IT tools and methods used to store, process and issue information in order to achieve the goal. This understanding of the information system assumes the use of computers and communications as the main technical means of information processing, implementing information processes and the issuance of information needed to make decisions to tasks from any field.
The IS is an environment, the constituent elements of which are computers, computer networks, software products, databases, people, various kinds of technical and software communications, etc. Although the very idea of the IS and some principles of their organization arose long before the advent of computers, but computerization in the tens and hundreds of times increased the effectiveness of the IS and expanded the scope of their application.
The implementation of IS functions is impossible without knowledge of the IT focused on it. IT can also exist outside the IS sphere. Thus, IT is a more capacious concept that reflects the modern understanding of the processes of transformation of information in the information society. Depending on the specific field of application, IT can vary very much in its functions, architecture, implementation.

Developed by
No project in the field of information technology can do without the work of a developer – a programmer who creates various products in IT: computer games, mobile applications, websites, etc. The specifics of a developer’s activity depend entirely on the chosen direction.
No matter what direction the programmer chooses, everywhere he will need commitment, perseverance, curiosity, resistance to stress and analytical mind.
